Reentry Essentials Initiative
One of the greatest challenges facing our nations incarcerated population is the lack of convenient access to accurate and up-to-date reentry resources and information.
Each year, more than 600,000 men and women are released back into communities with limited knowledge of the tools and resources available to help them navigate and overcome the challenges of reentering their lives, families, and communities.
Through this exclusive initiative, Reentry Essentials provides local, state and national resources (both public and private) available in print and digital formats to currently and previously incarcerated individuals, their families and communities at no cost.
In today's tech-savvy world, incarcerated and recently released individuals often lack the most basic skills. Thus, restricting their access to available resources and increasing their likelihood of recidivating.
Our Reentry Essentials Initiative is designed to empower individuals to take personal responsibility for their reentry needs by ensuring access to high-quality and reliable resources regardless of their circumstances.
